Karen Buchholz-DePriest is the owner and operator of Studio 203 DanceCentre’, and has been teaching dance in the Central Texas area since 1976. She has had intense training and education in all facets of dance and gymnastics instruction.
After graduation from high school, with a true love for dance, and at the urging of her mother, she hopped a plane and went abroad to obtain her education and certifications through a rigorous training program in England. Karen studied for two and one half years in Ballet, Tap, Jazz and Modern Dance at highly acclaimed institutions, including:
– The Imperial Society of Teachers Dance Syllabus
– The Royal Academy of Ballet
– The Arts Association of London Stage Schools
Karen is also an active member of Dance Masters of America Chapter 3 and a post graduate of Dance Masters of America Teachers Training School.
Karen maintains continuing education by attending numerous dance conventions and workshops throughout the year to keep up with the latest trends and teaching methods.

Neisha Arce – Instructor
Neisha began dancing at the age of 3 at Karen & Donna School of Dance in Killeen, Texas, and continued her dance training there until she was 21 years of age. She has attended numerous competitions, conventions, workshops, and training courses throughout her years of dance. Her favorite principles of dance include contemporary/modern, jazz, and lyrical, and has been teaching and choreographing since the age of 14.
While attending high school, Neisha was a 3 year varsity member of the award winning Kangarettes at Killeen High School. Neisha has also danced professionally in troupes which include the former, local Dance Dynamics group, and also a troupe in Austin, TX.
During the summer of 1999-2002 she attended Dance Masters of Americas teacher training school at the University of Buffalo, New York. Neisha tested and became certified in Tap, Jazz and Modern style of dance, now is a post graduate of the DMA program.
Megan started her dance career with Studio 203 Dance Centre (formerly Karen & Donna’s School of Dance), and has been dancing for almost 20 years. Megan was a member of the competition company groups and attended many dance conventions as well as workshops. After graduating from high school and the Senior Dance Company in 1999, she began working as the assistant teacher for Miss Karen and danced with the adult performance group Dance Dynamics, directed by Anderson Flynn.
After 3 years Megan left Studio 203 to move to Austin, TX where she danced and performed with Ballet East Dance Theatre from 2002 to 2010. She also continued teaching children’s classes through the YMCA and many different local dance studios. Megan was also cast in shows including Cabaret (2006) through Zach Scott Theatre and What Would Dolly Do (2007) with The Getalong Gang.
